Hi Brenda,
I'm glad you contacted me. I believe Roman is one of your foals (NAEIRC >
#35104) I recognized your name since it is on his registration
papers, and it is an unusual last name around here. I'm sure you
have more knowledge about his sire and dam than I do (Tips the Cloud and
Jensen) so I would love to hear from you about them since all I know about
his breeding is through a middle party. . I must tell you that he is
an incredibly sweet boy . If you are interested, I can update you on his
last 3 years with me. Otherwise I would love to hear back from you and learn
more about Roman's heritage. Take care, Virginia

STACY WROTE:
RUSKIN really has grown into the most handsome horse. I am
so pleased with him. He is very brave, curious and a quick learner. These
qualities are going to make him the eventer I was hoping for. His
confirmation continues to be correct despite his growth spurts. The vet and
the neighbor (who is a top level eventer himself) are very impressed with
both Raskin and Kavan. We are very! very! impressed with both the horses and
the quality of your service.

Jim
from Alabama bought this colt as a yearling and is now 3 years old. He is
out of our Jade mare that is 17hh and Tips The Cloud stallion. He is 1\2 TB,
1\4 QH, and 1\4 percheron. In this picture he is 16.2hh at only 3 years old.
He is used for hunting and they say he is absolutely fabulous to handle. He
is very smart and easy to train. This is his picture with Jim on him getting
ready for a hunt.

Hi Brenda,
I have just recently taken some pictures of my not so little filly, and
thought you might want to see her progress. She is sitting at 1 1/2 years
now and 15.3hh. She is very correct with HUGE movement. She has impeccable
ground manners and is incredibly easy to train. I threw a saddle/bridle on
just for play and it didn't phase her one bit! She is not spooky with
anything. She is good with all our farm equipment, other horses, people and
traffic!
I am really enjoying her, and cannot wait to start riding her!
I have attached some pictures so you could see how beautiful shes grown up
to be! :)
Thanks,
Cara

Not sure if you remember me or not. We chatted last year
about the sorrel colt that you sold at Thunderbird in the
summer..........anyways, I didn't end up buying him, but today I purchased a
2 yrs old filly that went through the same sale. Her name is Sheena, not
sure if they changed it or not. She is black with a blaze. She sold after
the auction was finished to nice lady named Jen. Jen is my friend and has
taken very good care of her. She is a pretty filly and will have a good
home with me:)

Madison is doing
wonderful! I put her in with my trainer 6 weeks ago and her progress has
been amazing. She leads, lunges, backs up, side passes from the ground,
picks up all four feet , she walks into the wash rack , I can spray
her with stuff, she has been bitted up and had the surcingle on- no
driving lines yet, she is incredible!! She follows me around like a puppy.
She is totally relaxed-looks like she is falling asleep when I mess with her
in the stall. She is perfect. She is very intelligent-literally
we cannot throw enough at her right now. Our goal is to have her
saddled and bridled and as accustomed to everyday stuff as we can. Tim
(trainer) is very impressed at the quality of horse. I cannot
begin to tell you how excited I am about Madison. I have always wanted an
English horse and Madison is perfect in every way for me. I am trying
to convince my husband to buy one of the QH/Perch crosses. But- when
and if we decide to buy again-guaranteed it will be through you. After
getting Madison I decided that I will buy from the you in the future. She is
more than I could have hoped for. Thanks Brenda-she is very special to me.

CADY
I have 7 horses here now by
default I think. I was horse sitting a friend's horse who turned out to be pregnant who foaled here in April. He turned out to be a colt and the
lady didn't want either of her horses back. So now my oldest daughter is
attached to the mare and my husband wants to keep the colt. He has been
a handful since the day he hit the ground. He has calmed down a lot
since, but is no where near as easy to handle as Nyx and Cady have been. I find myself wishing all my horses came from you.
If Nectar's
colt is anything like Nyx, he will be very successful at
Eventing. Nyx has a way about her that attracts people. Everyone who
comes over seems to gravitate to her. I am hoping to get both Cady and
Nyx into Eventing when they get older. After Cady gets some miles under
her, my daughter will be able to compete with her and Nyx is mine. |
